KOH KOOD

KOH KOOD

I spent 19 hours traveling for 48 hours on the beach with my six friends — and it was worth it. To quote Kira, “I want to stay at a place on the beach. I want to walk out onto a beach, sit on the beach and do nothing. Then, I want to go back inside, sleep and do it again the next day.” That’s exactly what we did and it was wonderful.

Koh Kood is the second largest island of Koh Chang islands, located in the Gulf of Thailand. It’s known for its white sandy beaches, clear waters and dive sites. It’s also known for its waterfalls, but I wouldn’t know anything about that because I only left the beach twice — for food.

We were desperate to get out of Bangkok and thank goodness we did. I love Bangkok, but sometimes you just have to get out. A few lazy beach days was all I needed to recharge.
